Historic textiles cannot be washed in a washing machine or with commercial detergent. Washing of historic textile conservation is done after considering various factors such as the condition textile, age color fastness dyes, type fiber, and stain. to remove unwanted materials dust, dirt, stains, etc, which may damaging object. Organic surfactants have been used India detergents shampoos for ages. They widely laundry industry researched their medicinal properties. Moreover, organic are easily available, cheap, eco-friendly. The aim this study was find out main cleaning agent (saponin) present reetha, shikakai (acacia concinna) by GC-MS potential reetha natural textiles.
